Just before New Year I did my first shoot with a model. It was meant to be to get a feel for how we can work together, what works, what extra props and clothing we need, etc, but I definitely was hoping to get a few usable shots out of it. No make-up or hair stylist, which I'm realising is very important
The model was great, did everything I asked of her and more. Unfortunately two problems combined to make a fairly big one. My first attempt with my lighting equipment (if you can call it that) proved it not to be as powerful as I hoped. And I forgot my tripod mount attachment! D'Oh! Result is handheld long exposures and a lot of shake.
A few useable shots came out of the day. Here's the first one I've finished post processing. What do you guys think?

Here's another that wasn't intended, but I quite like it anyway. Just not sure what to do with the colouring
