Looks like this version of iPhoto has been around since August 2004. I've had it all this time and never knew that it supported RAW. Now that I know, I'm going to take a look at it and see how useful it'll be for me. Thanks for the tip. :)

Yup, you're right. I went to the latest update which was for 4.03. But when I clicked on "cameras supprted", it took me to another page which was for iPhoto 5 but I thought the page was still for 4.0.3.

Bummer, that means I have to buy iPhoto 5, right? Well, then. in that case, I'll pass on it.

I'll just wait till OS 10.4. I'm assuming it will ship with iLife05

The RAW support is going to be cool. But I'm also intrigued by the new photo book options. Might be a great way to present portfolios.

I was thinking I wouldn't be buying the next iLife upgrade but for fifty quid, I reckon it's worth it.

I'd think so, I'm pretty sure that's what 10.3 did. I'm right there with you.

iLife comes with the Mac when you buy it new but I don't think it comes bundled with OSX. It looks like it's a separate $80 item if you buy it by itself.

That's a shame.. but it doesn't really surprise me. :(

I recently started a part time evening course on portrait photography at the local college and although is 3 hrs once a week you still get student NUS membership!

Just saved £100 off a new iBook, £30 off an airport express and guess what?..........iLife 05 is just £29........NICE!
