I just purchased a 5D and added the vertical grip and a RRS L bracket. It is a wonderful set-up, but at almost 7" tall I am finding that my present backpack just barely holds it. This does not allow for much cushion. Any suggestions of a backpack that would be deep enough? I normally carry the camera with a 24-105L f/4.0 attached. I also carry a 70-200L f/2.8 and a 100 mm macro as well as a flash and misc accessories. Any suggestions?

I'm considering a backpack myself, since my Tenba shoulder bag can get fatiguing after a while, and after returning some rental items at Calumet, I checked out their selection of Kata bags, and I must say, they look pretty sturdy. Though a bit colorful for my taste, construction looks solid and I bet the yellow lining works well for looking for stuff in the dark. LowePro seems to be popular as well.

I recently got a Lowepro flipside 300 to carry almost the same kit - snug but it works - worth a look at least.
