Hi. I dropped my flash last night and its now jammed and appears the bulb has gone.
do you know how much I am looking at for a repair?

I just had my repaired (580EX II). The flat fee is $110. My base got ripped after a fall.

when I broke my 430ex, a new foot was 13$ and i did it myself in 10 minutes....very easy.

That is great! Although my 580EXII was firing off with the test button, I didn't know what else *might* be out of wack. The front lens was broken, the WHOLE botton was twisted. So out of the $110 if I have bought the spare parts and spend an hour of my time. I STILL would have come ahead.

yeah, that sounds like a bit more work then mine involved.
