Greetings All-
I've been unable to find the "T" shaped base/mount to replace the 3 I have broken over the years. Originally, I broke a 550EX mount and disassembled my ring flash (off hand I can't remember the model of this flash) and repaired the 550. I've since had two 550's get broken and I'm down to one flash. This is a simple repair, it just takes a few moments and a little patience, I just have had no luck finding this simple base so I can fix them. If anyone has any clues...

Thanks,

Todd Asher

Have you tried ordering it from Canon? Probably easier getting it from M Bass from the link Rene provided though.

haven't had any break on me yet (knock on wood) but this is good to know for future reference

What a great site, thanks Rene!
I've not contacted Canon directly, however, I've not seen parts anywhere on the net. I'll try one of these soon and advise as to the quality.

You can order pretty much any part from Canon that is still being produced. It is helpful to have the part number available when possible. Avoids any confusion.
