This resides in a park on 23rd street - didn't bother to get the gents name - but did snap his pic!

Nice image. but you need to put it in photoshop and adjust your levels.
Check your histogram ... the band is pushed all the way to the right.

You can do a minor sharpening also if you want..

I already edited (although I guess not very well!) in the Microsoft Picture It software (I just have that and the Arcsoft product) The original shot was too dark so I played with both brightness and contrast until the details were clear. I didn't use the sharpening tool on this pic but will try it out - thanks!

Here is same pic with sharpening and levels adjusted - I thought too dark at first in the face, etc.- better?

looks great to me

Is that more along what your eye remembers seeing ?
when you shoot, do you use the histogram to preview the image?

Sure send away - would like to see your edit! Actually, I have looked at the histogram screen - my understanding is peeks at either end represent under/over exposure - more towards middle is better? Didn't check on these though was walking, weather wasn't great - just wanted to "snap and run"...

The new edit improved this pic a lot. Now you just need to find out who this is......A literary figure I would think :)

I like the edited picture more
problem with orignal was little over exposed

anyways nice try
