Some more flower dewdrop refractions. You may recognise the flower in the first 4 shots as the same as the one I've been doing a lot of bug shots on recently. All are focus stacked.

Oh my goodness! I've never really looked around in the macro threads. This was one of the first threads I looked at in here and I'm astounded! These are gorgeous!!! I'm particularly drawn to the 2nd daisy one and the 1st purple one. Nice work!

Brian,
I love these shots and similar other ones you have posted. I have some Kenko tubes but think I need to get a real macro lens - your work has inspired me. Are you using the MPE-65 or the Sigma 105 for these shots? Any advice on getting started in terms of lens selection would be appreciated.

Can't say much more than what everyone else has said. If there's anyones refractions of dew drops I look forward to seeing...well...no need to get all mushy...
Nice, as always.

Brian, how about teaching us your tricks to making these shots so phenominal?

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I'm afraid I'm addicted to doing these- I just like the shapes and colours.
Jon - I use an MPE-65 for these but you can use a macro lens with a full set of ext tubes to give around 2:1 for them.
Jim It-s just a matter of finding small natural dewdrops and then using focus stacking to get the refracted image and the dewdrop in focus. Tutorial here- http://www.wonderfulphotos.com/articles/macro/dewdrops/
