hello everyone,

It's not everyday ( January 11,2005 ) you get to photograph the leader of your country. I did so today and took quite a few photos but this one struck me as different.

The Prime Minister looked tired with all that is going on in the world today.

I did some work with photoshop and this is the best I could do. It's certainly not your standard pose. Please feel free to let me know what you think.
Thanks,

hello everyone,

Here are a couple of more photos that I took of the Prime Minister of Canada, Paul Martin, today January 11, 2005. They are not great and I am not happy with them but when you only have a split second with a Digital Rebel and pop up flash, you take what you can. I thought I would share them anyways.

I don't think you should be disappointed. Considering the circumstances, I would be pleased and proud to have taken them. You must have gotten close, because they almost look posed. We could never get so close to our president (I hope).

Good job on the photos. He does look "tired" in these photos, especially the first one.

Great images, Maz. He certainly does look a little burnt doesn't he! The first one is my favorite; very intense.

Thank you for your comments. Out of respect for Prime Minister Martin I need to add that these photos were taken at a funeral and Mr. Martin had traveled quite far for the ceremonies and was close to the family.

Thanks,
Maz
