Wow, great shots, stunning color! I love them!
Only
#1 has some flare at bottom of guitar.
#2 is an odd crop, Geddy is not really the first thing i see. I'd crop out the synth.
#3 has a lot of flare
#6 cuts out Neil's right eye with his hand

Rush is the best band in the world ever, I wouldn't care if they were the only band! :D

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the comments. They were a great band to shoot and put on an awesome show. I only wish I had a good telephoto with me to get a good one of Neil.
hawk: I was luckily able to get a photo pass. Shot the first three songs only, then enjoyed the rest of the show.

Haley... These shots are great... I just love the faces...
Where did you learn to shoot, frame, compose and capture such great colors and expressions? You're a lucky one... Cheers.

Can you see the envy from there? Sweet gig, even if it was 3 songs. I missed the show last month here in Milwaukee.

1 is a great clean shot. 2 is my favorite because of the expression on geddys face though. great stuff.

Getting creds to shoot a show is a topic we discuss here often... Over the years, the same things keep coming up... Some of us apply in writing months in advance.... Other's are pros with newspapers, magazines, or are house photogs...
Last minute requests are scarcely approved... Often, even pro photogs. have to buy tickets to get in...
Your best bet is to contact the venue to see what arrangements they require... Often, they don't permit flash, or use of professional cameras...
Sometimes, the band will approve a known, reputable photog. for their needs... and will in turn inform the venue of this...
It's easiest, if they know your work... and/or, you know someone at the venue or the band... Thereafter, it's a lot easier to get the appropriate credentials.
Last minute attempts are often a hassle for the venue, not to mention the band too... I'd be careful with these last minute approaches, and be polite, and accept rejection gracefully... Next time it will be easier to deal with them.

Yeah I'm kinda expecting to get a rejection, I sent an email to the venue to see if they could do anything for me.

Let us know how it progresses... It's often the first contact that's the toughest...
It can only get better from here.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. I regularly shoot concert photography in the Toronto area, mostly indie bands. I have learned everything through experience.
Thanks to everyone for your comments and taking the time to check out the photos.

These are great shots and, like others, really like #2 as well. It's interesting how Geddy has gone from one of the strangest looking guys to one of the coolest looking guys over the years. He just looks like a rock star.
