Hi,
Anybody used Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000. How do you find it. Here (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=2204,CONTENTID=5042) is the link to their site.
Thanks

What exactly were you looking to use it for? I had the QuickCam Pro 3000 which I gave to my son. It worked fine for the usual things you use them for, such as a webcam, quick and dirty (and I mean "dirty" literally, as in hight ISO noise) snaps of yourself in front of the computer, surveillance, etc. but I didn't do anything really serious with it. The software that it came with had a few annoying bugs such as locking up the computer but maybe that's fixed now.
But there was one thing that really annoyed me about it and I'm sure it'lll be the same with the 4000 and it's the fact that the cable runs right from the back of hte camera so you can never get it aimed anywhere you want. Everytime you move the cable, the camera is looking somewhere else. Even if you don't move the cable, the camera aim will gradually creep over time as the cable starts to settle from gravity.

Hi Leo,
It will be used for the usual stuff, like say "Hi" to friends and such. I know what you mean about the cable. What I did with another Logitech cam (old & cheap) is place the mobile phone on the cable so it doesn't move the camera...but it's still annoying.
