I would appreciate comments on how this Black and white conversion came out. Can it be done better, how, etc,

RAW > tif
PS:
channel mixer 33-33-33 (mono)
curves: a slight S-curve

(Camera: G6 1/100th with f2.0)

Thanks
Markus

I think it came out just fine. Is that a relfection in the window or the view through the window?

Yes I agree, seemed to come just fine, nice range of tones. If you had put the colour one there was well for comparison then it might have been able to judge better, Only bit I wasn't sure about with the window, and what was either shown throw it the refection, as said in the other post, just seems a bit flater compared to the rest of the shot.

You did a great job. Tones are fine. Textures of the grains in the wood are nice...might want to straighten out the lines of it tho - you can use distort in PS to lift the right edges.
