can someone help me with 2 questions ?


1.what is the minimum focusing distance on most film cameras?is this a trick question?
2.why is the format called 35 mm??

1. not sure, but probably depends on the lens

As gool said, it absolutely depends on the lens and accessories used.


Both 35 mm movies and still pictures use the same perforated film strip.
The way the image frame is placed on the strip is different though.
For the standard 135 still film format (36mm x 24mm frame) see this wikipedia link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/135_film) instead.
