Hi,

I have been shooting photography for a couple of years and have covered a lot of events. But, I would like to get more exposure or show more of my images to the public. After going through my database, I have around 200GB+ of images just sitting on my hard drive and I haven't printed them or put them online. So, I would like to change that. For example, I think I have a couple of good images from the Northwest but don't know what would be the best way to go about it.

I have a smugmug, flickr, photosig and photo.net account. I have contemplated stock photography but I know that takes a lot of work in the long run because you need a constant flow of images to submit to the company.

How do you share your images or get more exposure?

Submit them to online contests?
Put them online for critique?
Place them on online portfolio then drive traffic to them?

All of your ideas are welcome.

Post them here in the appropriate forums and ask for critiques. You will learn your strong points and find your flaws. And most importantly you gain knowledge!

Yeah, I have noticed that I haven't uploaded many images to this forum for critique. I'll make sure to be doing that soon.

But I guess what I wanted to find out is what do you do w/ the photos that you shoot, besides showing them to their prospective clients?
