nice job of isolating the subject from the background. I would crop off about an inch from the top of the photo -- so that only a little bit of space separates the rim from the top of photo.

Wait a minute...that's 1600ISO on the 20D!? Are you sure you didnt run that through Neat Image or something like that?

the 20d handles iso1600 very very well...

Yes it does!! I have no problem using 1600 and do alot for these type of situations.
