I'm printing my own photo at A1 (23 * 33 in) or A2 (half that size) to hang in my lounge, and I have a couple of questions.
- Can photos taken with the 300D (RAW) be printed A1, or should I stick to A2? I've printed a few sections on 6x4s at the actual size they'd appear printed A1, and they look good as long as you're > 6 inches from the pic.
- Do you think I should add a border and my signature to the bottom right, or just leave it as is? It's not being framed, it's being mounted on a board them spray coated with a clear film, so I can't add the signature later except with a pen ;) Even then i'd be reluctant in case I mess it up.

I'd like to know this as well, and since it seems that people missed your question the first time around... bump.

can we see the pics? It might be easier to answer your question about the border and sig. What printer are you using to go that size?

Pics here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=53885).

It's being professionally printed, by Fuji ImageMagic. There's only 2 places in the country that can print photos that large, one's two blocks from my house :)

I would do a signature in the first one for sure. Maybe a clear embossed one. The second on I'm not too sure about. As far as bourders, if you do them, keep them small so they don't take away from the shots.

I guess I could put a small signature on the bottom right easily enough, inside the actual pic instead of in the border. A photo of my signature should work too, nice and easy :)
