What's about adding a contact form with recaptcha option to EE for the next version? Right now I am trying to implent the solution jeronimo posted some time ago (see http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=411984 ). But since comments and guestbook are going with repatcha it would be nice having a contact form with recaptcha as well.

I agree. It would be very good having all forms with recaptcha. If you need any help, I have some free time in coming weekend.

Uhm, is this a trick question? I suck at those.
Perhaps there was a required course to take, and I missed it.
Read the linked source code and made sense for a basic email form.
Crap. Was this Pass or fail ??

Why should my simple question be a trick question. I don't get your point. I am not a programmer and I simply don't want to include a form which is unsecure. That would definitely be easy. But I have struggled implementing php scripts for contact forms into EE. It would be even more difficult (at least for me) adding the code for recaptcha to an existing script since I have not much knowledge in php. Maybe that would be easy for you, but definitely not for me. I might keep on trying but I am not sure if I will suceed.

I meant no disregard for the actual issue, though I have barely understood what it is. Perhaps a little mischief I must admit, but only because I could not figure out what the thread was about, though I wanted to help.
I now get it.
Other than coding inside a widget like Flash or Java, and even then, I am not sure how to propery secure the code to something like this. Personally I would not secure it, but that is just me.
I do hope someone jumps in that does have specific experience with this.

First I thought you were joking... As you have probaly noticed this subforum is meant as wishlist. As I haven't posted my wish in the general part I thought it would be obvious that a contact form with recaptcha (www.recaptcha.net) is something I would like to have with EE in future but nothing what has to be done with the current version. And as it is with all posted wishes it's clearly up to Pekka if he finds a feature (wish) necessary or not. It is just a wish about a feature which I am missing.
