30D's... so many for sale!!

Since I started into DSLRs, I've always wanted a 30D. But when I bought my XTi for $599, they were still new for $1200. Over the last week I must have seen half a dozen for under $600 on this forum, they keep coming! I really, really wish I could justify having 2 cameras. I love my XTi, and I have a 3yr warranty so I don't really want to get rid of it.

I guess they will only get cheaper? Then again, 40Ds are coming into the $800 price range- so $600 by this time next year??

I wouldn't expect to see a new 40D for $600 anytime soon. At least not until they come out with a 50D.

I should specify... I meant USED for the 30Ds and 40Ds. You can't buy a new 30D unless it's a referb from somewhere..

Seems alot of people are making the jump to the 40D or 5D with the prices so low.
