Wireless Trigger for Alien Bee and Hotshoe Flash

Hi,

I tried searching the forums but could not find an answer. I want to get studio strobes to replace my hot shoe flashes. I have narrowed my search down to Alien Bee 800s. I am also keeping a hot shoe flash (Sigma 500 Super) and I was wondering if there is a wireless trigger that could trigger both of these?

Using the Sigma to trigger the Alien Bee is not an option because many times it will not be fired in the Alien Bees sight. At times, I will use the Sigma to light up the interior of the car while shooting the exterior or shooting people and lighting the background.

Look at the new Aline Bees CyberSync Tx and Rx. They will trigger flash as well as strobes.

What bobby said, but any radio trigger will do what you are asking, you just need the right cords.

Yep, not with the reliability of Cybersyncs/Skyports/PW's, but may fit your needs fine. I personally would go for at least the Cybersyncs, but if money is tight, you should be able to make due with the GI/Cactus triggers.

dont get those.
ebay triggers arent reliable a lot of the time.
i mean itll get the job done for the meantime, but your better off getting the cybersyncs. or pocketwizards/skyports if your wallet is feeling happy at the moment.

I happen to have sets of Cactus triggers already so I may use them temporarily. I wanted to wait out for the Radio Popper Jrs, if not I will go with the CyberSyncs.
