i had an interesting conversation with a coworker today...

i noticed a picture they were looking at had a nikon camera in it. i made a (very light and friendly) sarcastic joke saying "ooooooohhhh...a NIKON owner...booooo!".

the coworker looked at me and said "yeah, it's really nice!". i replied with "i just had to make fun of it since i own Canon cameras".

then the serious reply of "canons are just made of plastic...they aren't any good".

i couldn't argue with that logic, so i just quickly escaped.

Eh, people are full of rubbish about either side... I know quite a few people who have seen my shots and been extremely surprised that I shot with Canon as they were of the impression that all Canons were junk and their lenses paled in comparison to Nikkors.

Even on an unlimited budget.

Not a NOIK in the bunch--LOL.

And all those big white supertelephoto lenses at every major sporting event--Plastic junk too!!
