Back to shooting some macro pics after doing loads of bird shots lately.

Saw a handful of small skippers today, so just a couple of quick pics in Tv mode.

They look a bit larey to me even though I have done a couple of adjustments :rolleyes: but I guess the bright yellow flower doesnt help.

Very nice skipper Linda. Nice detail in #1. You are right about the yellow, try turning the yellow saturation channel down a small bit.

Wonderful shots Linda. Yellow can be as difficult as white sometimes. :)

Thanks Joan - yeah, Im not too bad with white, its the reds, oranges and yellow that I have trouble with, but then I think most people do lol.

What a neat butterfly! Very pretty! I think it may need a bit more contrast...but I'm not a pro either. :)

Thank you :D yes, a cute little butterfly, usually pretty skittish but it was so keen on these yellow flowers it wasnt too bothered by me lol. I think Ill leave the contrast alone thanks, as the majority seem to think they look ok :D
