Here's my meager attempt. I'm just trying to learn more about settings, with flash, and aperture working with things that aren't as big as the sky, or mountains, people, etc. Hope it's getting better? Just one of the many. Haven't gotten around to PP them all just yet.
Technicals:
5D, 100mm macro, 580EX, and I think the rest of the exif it intact.

And here's the second. Anyone know what the pods are, on either one of their bellies? Intriguing.

Great shots. Those could be mites or some other passenger/parasite.

They are female, Rambur's Forktail, Ischnura ramburi. Great shots. I was thinking eggs maybe on the body, but not sure. See http://bugguide.net/node/view/92737#109912

Thanks all, I appreciate the comments. Thanks for the addtional info. sugarman.
Just curious, and maybe someone can provide some insight. Attaching tubes...how would that enhance the magnification of the 100mm macro? And what size tube would yield what size magnification?
Again, thanks for the comments.

Thanks Gary. Appreciate the comments. That 100 macro performs, when I need it to.
