I'm usually a forum lurker because most of my photos are film and B&W, but here goes my first post. C&C is encouraged.

Shot with 40D w/ 28-135mm kit lens from the stands. Shooting at shutter priority between 30 and 60 shutter.

Nice shots. I have the same camera/lens combo. Looks like it will take good pics at my local dragstrip.
It also looks like the track is very close to the stands am I correct? Where is this track located? Just curious.

I like #1 and #5 best. You might try getting higher up in the stands to see over the wall so you dont cut off the bottom of the cars and bikes.

Thanks for the comments guys. My lens didn't have enough zoom, so I couldn't shoot any higher. I'm renting the 70-200L 2.8 IS this thursday, and I'll post a link as soon as I look through the photos. I like getting close to the action, but every time I started talking with the track officials, they said that I had to stay in the stand because I wasn't a payed employee... But apparently, I can ride a million miles an hour in my buddies mustang :P
