The theatre looks beautifull,.. is it in Belgrade?

and it's a Serbian National Theatre, in Belgrade downtown.....something like 160 years old building

Great shots! The Guy in the first photo sure noticed you snapping His photo.
I'd have to say my fave here is the shot of all the Ladies shsh-ing the audience.:D

Nice series of shots :)
#1 Menacing looking guy. (Merchant of Venice, perhaps?)
#2 Too much background above the ladies heads. I would have preferred to shoot lower, but you caught a great moment in the performance.
#3 I like this shot a lot but too bad the singer is caught shading her eyes.
#4 Very good shot of the conductor.

Gorgeous theatre from what I can see of it. Show us more!

What kind of white balance did you use to shoot in the colored stage lighting?

-Bruce well its hard not to notice the white lens :mrgreen: even if you're on stage


#1 Menacing looking guy. (Merchant of Venice, perhaps?)

What kind of white balance did you use to shoot in the colored stage lighting?it was set to auto.....it works fine in situations when you got a lot of diferent light temperatures and colors.....
i cooled it u bit in PS CS with cooling photo filter 80, about 15%

That's quite a theater there! Like Marie said, the Conductor would probably like the shot you got of Him.(Well composed) :D

Great series of shots, and it is a beautiful theatre. Wonderful work, as I assume you were unable to get close to the stage.

yap you're right....there are some restrictions about positioning yourself, but 70-200 works fine from the given distance
