I think my computer monitor is very bright (LCD) and it affects my judgment on the brightness of my photos.
I work as a video editor, but also make my own short films and experimental theatre. I have always loved photography and often use it to explore or capture ideas that I also explore in these other ways. They often feed into one another. The shot above was taken before the actual video shoot to test out the location and time of day. The film was about two girls who go to the park for the day; it was inspired by an old silent film called “people on Sunday”.
