I have the canon drebel along with the market lens17-55, canon 75-300 1.5m/4.9ft and just purchased the 50mm 1.8---a mezzelan back drop to 800 alien bee lights and unbrellas.
I am a newbee and have learned a lot on this forum, I recently ordered a 358 sekonic meter as a result of reading soooooo many of you talk about the meter is a must. I really want to make my job as simple a possible and I recent took some pictures at a reception (on the side) I do t he instant print thing for quest for a small fee. But I was not real happy with most of the exposures I took. So I purchased the meter and it's on the way to via UPS---How does it work? how do get it to fire and what am I looking for to make sure I get the right aperture and shutter speed?
Also, I realize that white balance is an issue in wedding because there was a lot of black and white and the white seemed to wash out on every picture.
