Much like everyone else, I had to rethink my plans for last weekend following the cancellation of the RIAT show days. So we decided to think about what we had not seen before in my old home county of Kent.

Had already planned to go to Legends on the Saturday but the Sunday resulted in a visit to the striking Battle of Britain Memorial on the white cliffs, and the Brenzett Aeronautical Musuem. Not a large museum, only two complete airframes, but lots of memorabilia. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Tied in the departures at Fairford on Monday with the journey back north, cancelling the planned visit to Hendon for the Tuesday.

I love the departure shot of the two Spits! Looks like they're really headed out to take on some FW190s!
