I know there are a billion online calculator out there but...

Does anyone make lenses with the DOF scale ring anymore?

Why can't it be included on the LCD, or in the viewfinder? I wouldn't think it would be too cost prohibitive.

Just curious.

Yes, but it depends on the lens. Focus scales are much shorter on most AF lenses, so the DOF marks would be quite close together on many of them - too close to read accurately.

Nevertheless, some lenses have it:

Zooms don't generally have it because the DOF changes as you zoom in and out, though older push-pull zooms did have a scale with curved lines that narrowed as you zoomed out.
