Very nice photo's Rob. Beautiful scenery. I look forward to more.
I have freinds here in British Columbia that are from South Africa and tell me about it all the time.

Hi Rob

Nice to see you here! As before, wonderful images. Maybe we'll see you at Fred's too!

These are an outstanding set of photos. I guess that you have heard that before! Thanks for sharing. Indeed they seem to be outstanding on almost every count:

* Tremendous variety
* Great subjects
* Unbelievable light and colouring
* Very, very photographic
* Seemingly perfect exposures
* Mystique and shadows that pervade the magic hours
* Great use of perspective
* Thoughtful foreground, middle ground and background
(the G2 is especially suited to this -- but if you don't plan for it you won't see it!
* Foregrounds with zip

Hard to remember favourites, there are so many. I guess those that I will go with are ones that unattainable inland.

1: the second horse shot -- free of the background buildings makes it a bit purer than the 1st – although the latter had a nice balance
2: the wave shots -- one included some splash.

All in all, quite humbling. (just when I thought that I was on a roll!) I think that I could shoot some of these shots – but I never see them – except a bit when I travel. I have seen the sea, but never the wading horses. I have seen wading deer, but never when I had the camera. So, I am going to stick with trying more to paint photos that say "...Canada...". That is tough enough.

What more can I say.
