Can I just start by saying a massive thank you to the people who commented on my previous Goodwood post, pointing out what I should do to get better shots. Your advice helped tremendously at a private sprint event this weekend which I asked if I could attent to practise some shots. The net result was I was asked if I would like to attend the following year. How could I refuse?
On to the pics:

Great shots! The first two are timeless with the B&W and no background clutter!

Congrats on being asked back next year. I really like the first two. They have a nice vintage feel.

Frame #1 right now. You've really captured the vintage feel with that shot, looks like something I would find in many of the vintage car books I have. #2 is nice as well but the car is covered in a lot of shadows so it's hard to depict areas with the B&W conversion.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I wasn't sure if number 2 was a little on the dark side!

Very nice work!
I like the exhaust tip on #5. You just need to convince the antique drivers to wear period correct helmets.

It was better from the point of view there was still a lot of stuff there that I hadn't seen before. Worse from the point of view that it's turning into a parade with only a few drivers really going for it.
And it's still not the best place in the world to take photos unless you've got a pass.
Still a good day out though and worth the money

Yes, it has been about 9 years since I last went. Back then people were driving like lunatics to get to the top. I didn't realise it had become like a parade now. Too much safety reasonings to slow people down?
Still is probably one of the most fantastic festivals to see the likes of the Old and the New racing along a narrow stretch of road. Glad you're invited next year, hopefully it will be good then too. Nice work!
