From the Roof of My Apartment

I just took this one a few minutes ago from the roof of my apartment building here in Charlotte, North Carolina. It's been grey and cloudy for weeks. This is not my most dramtic photo ever, but it was nice to finally see a sunset. How long till spring? It's slim pickings for photographers in the southeast US during winter. No snow, no sunshine, no leaves :confused: . Maybe it'll snow up in the mountains one of these days. I never thought I would miss the snow when I moved down here. I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt when I took this so I can't really complain.

There's something Lego-like about it. On a grand scale. Very nice shot. Would be a good promo-pic for the Chamber of Commerce.

Thanks guys. I owe this photo to a friend of mine. She called me on the way home from her work and asked me if i saw the great sunset we were having. I was inside my east facing apartment and had no idea i was missing a good sunset. by the time i got my camera up to the roof most of the best colors were over, but I still got this shot.
