I'm picking up a G9 soon, and I'd like to get a fisheye. I'd like something good. Something around the price range of $200-$300.

Recommendations?

My friend apparently uses a Phoenix .25x converter or something like that, and I like his work.

Pbone,
I just picked up a G9 and I just ordered a Lensmate adaptor. I also have had for some time now the Phoenix .25X Super Fisheye.
I will let you know the results of the adapter and fisheye lens together.
I have had great images using the Phoenix and the 18-55 IS kit lens with an XTi in the past.
And I have hand held the Phoenix with the G9. The images looked good enough for me to order the Lensmate adapter.
