I went to one of the trade days at the AutoSport International show today and here are a few samples of my images. What was interesting was walking through the show, which is huge by the way, and finding my pictures from last season in various places, including at the MSA, who are the governing body of motorsport in the UK.

I'm not too hot on show photography compared to my track stuff, so please be gentle...

Got to have the obligatory pit girls. :) Shooting cars standing still and not in the pits is always a weird experience. I would have like to watch them hang up those F1 cars.

A real GT40. Yummmy.

Attu, no sign of anyone working on them. It was heaving on Friday, even though the pictures don't show it. I always wait for a pedestrain gap where possible, and if not at least make sure any in the shot look interesting (or interested). Just like you, apart from looking up some people that were there, I had a small assignment to do for a publication.

Not enough scantily clad young ladies about this time though IMHO .... :)

Nice shots Ken. It wasn't nearly that quiet at the "PikeySport Show" today. It was chav central. No shortage of blue neon washer LEDs for sale, if you get my drift.

There were a few scantily clad ladies about ;) and since I'd taken the 70-200L they were quite happy to pose for me... size does matter ;)

I do miss the Superbike Magazine pole dancers from a few years ago though :(

Falken seem to have quite a collection of young ladies. Pity the tyres are not as good.

Yes, even the AS show had its blue neon and ICE section. Makes me cringe. I heard one sales guy talking to a customer about how the sound system fitted into their demo Clio (what else) was bordeline on blowing out the glass.

Had to use one of my heat pads today to keep my hands and the batteries warm. Oh the joys of Croft in winter....

Oww... that sounds cold. Forecast for tomorrow at Brooklands is reasonable including good light, so it's bound to be raining and overcast.... I've just dug the big telephoto out of the cupboard where it's been hiding for the last month or so... fun, fun fun ;)
