I was just wondering what you guys use to transport lighting equipment? I am looking to transport 3 Alienbees B800s with their associated lighting stands and some other equipment. The container should have wheels if possible. Any suggestions?

I use the Pelican 1650 with dividers, holds 4 WL 1600, 4 sports reflectors, 4 standard reflectors, 5 super clamps, PW's, cords and cables, gaffers tape etc.

Hi Pete,
Rather than a container on wheels I chose to make my kit a bit more modular and then it all goes on a very good quality folding handtruck. I use bungee cords and I can rig it up so I really don't have to move or unload gear to get to other gear. The truck has a substantial nose plate and a back with anchor points for cords or belts.
For my strobes, sppedrings, reflectors, AC cords, extensions, light meter, flash, Pocket Wizards, umbrella brackets, super clamps, pins, spigots, sync cords and spare batteries ( I might be leaving something out) I have a Stanley FatMax toolbox that is built well, lightweight, accepts padlocks, has a tray for doodads, and a water proof seal. It's also good in a pinch to use as a seat or bench and I've used it to stand on when I didn't have my small step stool. Couldn't have blown $30 any better :D
I carry (3) 9.5 foot air cushioned light stands, (1) 7'.5 foot air cushioned light stand, a reflector holder/boom arm, accessory arm, (2) 60" umbrellas, (2) 43" umbrellas, 36" x 48" softbox, 24" x 32" softbox all in a Photoflex transpac bag which I think cost me about $65.
The idea of any one of my cases or bags being larger or heavier is not a good one. I want to be able to move the gear myself or take only parts of the kit when needed, and if I do have an assistant I want them to be able to carry bags or cases without hurting themselves. Sometimes the model even wants to help and I'm all for that, so I think that it makes sense not to have some big giant case on wheels. That's just my preference though.
