Took my Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro out looking to get lucky...I think I am getting closer to actually getting a good overall capture.

shot this guy while he was about 4-5' above my head in a tree:

Since I can't figure out how to not remove the EXIF:
Aperture 6.3 Shutter 1/320 ISO 100 (Handheld)

the above pic cropped at what I think is 100%

The second picture the wasp is on a piece of hard candy. These 2 pics were shot with a tripod

EXIF:
pic 1: Aperture 5.6 Shutter 1/40 ISO 100 Flash ON

OK this pic is a 100% crop(yeah I screwed up and didnt rename the orginal)

Don't use "Save as Web" in photoshop or the exif will be gone. If you're hotlinking from flickr, the exif will only show when you use the original (upload) size, i think :)

You're getting better and you will get it down ;-) #3 is good! the way i learnt when i started out was to look at other peoples posts and take a note of the camera settings they used :-)
