ive been for several years now, both on istockphoto.com and on istockpro.com - i find its a great way to take "extra" shots while im out on location or whatever, to kill time between shooting and make some extra money.

there is also something worth saying about one's trash is anothers gold. some shots i thought were horrible and were total accidents turned out to be big hits. its not a ton of money, but then again most of the images im submitting are extra shots or accidents during other shoots... so the bit of extra income it brings in, along w/ getting my name around does help

anyone else? where do you sell them?

I sell all my photographs on http://www.dotphoto.com. They not only allow people to buy prints, they also have like gifts and stuff like shirts and mugs and stuff like that which reaches a wider audience. They also allow traditional digital downloaading prints. You can also set ur own prices and basically you get all the profit minus the base fee which is really good. I make about 25 bucks a month selling my stuff. Most revenue comes from 4x6 photos which i sell for 28 cents each, which is 9 cents profit per print sold. Alot of people have been going for the digital prints though recently for like wallpapers i guess. You can set a price for regular digital download and a higher price for a Hi resolution photo (which is what advertisers usually go for). Its a neat site for both pro's and beginners.

Also most of the shots i sell on this site are all the shots i dont like or have no purpose for, and i actually sell quite alot of random useless shots. Basically all the money i make from this site goes towards developing my own prints, usually 4x6 for my personal collection which i get for 18 cents each at the local 1 hour photo, so i can get over 125 free prints a month for letting others buy my useless shots hehe.
