I have a leica Televid 77 spotting scope
I have a Canon Powershot S70
Guess what my next set of questions are going to be about?
I have the 20-60 magnification eye piece on the scope.
I just bought the S70.
I used to be a Sniper Instructor in the British Army.
Over many years of practice, I am able to line up the centre of my eye with the centre of the scope to ensure that I have a clear, crisp picture that is free of any paralax. Trying to hand-hold the camera in the right place is not that trivial.
I want to be able to do the following:
a) Line up the scope
b) Focus the scope
c) Attach the camera
d) Take a photo.
The difficult bit seems to be part(c)
Any ideas, hints, suggestions would be welcome.
I plan to follow up this post with further posts to let you all know how I get on.
I assume that one of the first parts is the adapter thingy that fits on the camera and allows you to attach the telephoto lens. Needless to say I plan to attach a much bigget tele (The Leica 77 Spotting scope)
Here is looking forward to a long and interesting collection of posts relating to this subject.
