I'm trying to edit a large amount of pictures for a client to put on a photo cd. I don't know what pictures they will choose to print at what sizes. So my question is, if I do need to crop the picture, what is the best ratio to crop at so that the least amount of picture will be cut off when printed. I'm highly confused. Like I say, it'd be one thing if I knew what size they would print them but I don't, so what do I do?
Thanks

Keep the 3:2 ratio that comes out of your camera. Don't try and crop to other sizes, if they have problems tell them they can order prints from you.

I'm a little slow. I'm sure this is a really annoying question, but what does a 3:2 ratio mean?

Same as the ratio that comes from your camera, say 3000 pixels along the longest side and 2000 on the shorter side.
