Pelicans

Hi Guys

been a while since i've had time to drag the camera out (or remembered to take it with me) was at the park in the centre of town and finally got a shot of the Pelicans

please let me know what you think of them and what i need to work on - no pp has been done

Your depth of field is too shallow. They're a little blurry because of it. Also, you've slightly blown some of the highlights. And I'd like to see a little wider of a crop that follows the rule of thirds.

I think it would strengthen the composition slightly to crop about 10% off the right side, getting rid of that last piece of rock.

I agree with the crop that Robert mentioned. I also agree that the DOF is to shallow. Nice picture though, it seems like a good place to shoot.

thanks for the comments guys - i agree about the rock being cropped out too just noticed it after i had posted it.
