Pretty awesome, we were watching the T-birds from my deck, they flew right over us a couple times.
Nice shots!

I found 4 or 5 other people with the same exact shot! I was pretty bummed. Hoped I had something unique :(
We must have been standing pretty close to each other as I have similar angles.

Looks like I was further north than you were. Yours make three similar shots that I have seen now.

LOL when shooting airshows, there is no shortage of white lenses or black ones pointed skyward. You did capture a very unique moment.... nice job.

Love the shadow of the F-18 tail in #3. I have a very similar shot, but without the shadow, taken at Pensacola last year.

I don't mind as long as you tell me what you did to make it so much better.
I shot in RAW and was able to clean out dust spots.
Can you teach me how you did this?

Do you have Photoshop?

I do.
I ran into the problem where trying to lighten up the trees washed out the mountain.
Do you have to make each a layer?

No I just did this very quickly, just wanted to clean it up a bit.
First I bumped up the contrast and brightness a bit.
The did a quick little selection of the sky around the mountain (i used the magic wand, it got most of it, without going into the mountain too much). I then applied a gradient going from transparent at the bottom to a darker blue at the top.
Then used the Shadow/Highlight tool to bring out the rocks on the mountain and brighten up the trees a bit.
Last I used the Photo Filter tool with just the warming filter at a pretty low density to make the sky look not so bright/blue.
