While the picture are good, the subject just makes me sad. To see Mr. T. reduced to shilling snickers bars is a crying shame.

Well, he's had his era, he's 56 now so his acting career would be well over.

I think for his age, he's doing pretty well.

Yeah, I know, and he was never an Oscar candidate anyway, but a Snickers bandolier?

At least he isn't doing Viagra or Depends! :p

Bah ha haha! There is my laugh for the day.

I didn't really expect to see the real Mr. T. when I read the title. Nice surprise. Thanks for sharing.

Considering he was expected to die from cancer a few years ago, I'd say the man is doing well. Does look older than his age though... Nice captures

Come on folks - quit the jibba-jabba.

I bet those 2 fingers in the first pic got a roundhouse :)

+1 I agree.. thats what I thought.. I was like.. is he that desperate that he'll wear a sash of snickers? And WTF with the guy with the bunny ears?

And WTF with the guy with the bunny ears?In a sense, I think it fits well with the theme of the shot. One-time tough guy, brawler, bouncer reduced to hawking candy bars and deemed so non-threatening that some dweeb in the audience has the audacity to adorn him with bunny ears. How far the mighty has fallen!

Nice capture of quite a character. I guess after such a stunning run at stardom in the TV, movie, and wrestling world, selling Snickers is a major downer.

He is definitely a well known figure.

At least when he pimped Warcraft, the ad was funny...

The Snickers spot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NySN_plfiNI&feature=related) is lame in comparison. And I'm sure he wants to bring the pain to the marketing geek who came up with that ammo belt.

I wish I could make whatever they paid him to do a commercial for my favorite video game (which is minimized at the moment lol)

Mr. T. is an icon, and I loved his Warcraft commercial. :)

My thoughts exactly, but if you think about how much he's probably getting paid...

...would you?

For 5 years Mr. T disappeared. Fools went unpitied and Jibba-Jabba went unchallenged. Not any more.

He'd still be getting royalties from the A-Team days, as well as the WWF days, so he's not exactly poor. He's being paid to be his personality and character as of 20 years ago, which is better than what we could ever aspire to do...

Oh I agree. I think he has sold out, but if you were in a position to sell out to Snickers, as a "Hollywood Nobody" would you?

I would.

hehe, let's just say at that age, if you're being approached by a multinational company to be the face of their product, it's a pretty damn good deal.

Well, if you needed your wrinkles on your face to be part of your 'character', it'd definitely catch up to you sooner rather than later
