2 Saturdays ago, July 12th, was Tom Coughlin Day here in Waterloo, NY. He grew up here & graduated from Waterloo High School. The football field is named after him. They had a parade downtown & them some speakers at the field. He presented the 4 winners of the longest pass contest with medals & then posed for a picture.

Nice shot. Too bad about the person on the right, having to be 'included' while being 'excluded.'

Yeah she is the president of the Junior football league but she blinked in this picture. Tom walked away quick & I wasn't able to get just him & the kids.

Hate when that happens. This is why I really dislike taking pictures of people....hehe. Someone is always doing something else.

Yeah I know what you mean. I am fairly new to this. I am taking the T & I for the league this fall. Here is one I took while the official photographer for Senator Nozzolio was taking a picture of some of the kids. Notice the turned heads & lack of attention. Also it didn't help that it was 95 degrees & humid.

Yeap...and in the group shot, I see some jpeg artifacts, I think. But, still, a nice group shot. Might want to get a Circular Polarizer, to darken the sky a bit, or even an ND filter, to darken the image a bit, as the sky is quite hot. Other than that, nice effort.

Yeah thanks for the info. Lots to learn still. These were some of the 1st shots with my new Sigma 24-60.
