G9 Language Upgrade

I purchased a G9 in the UK and was very happy with it. I noticed that there are lots of language options , including Romanian, so i recommended this to a friend in Romania.. They also bought one however they only have a choice of English or Japanese (i think).

Is it possible to upgrade or unlock the language options ?
