Archos help please~!!!!

i have a 30 gig archos 404... i bought the docking adaptor... the only reason i got this is because it said i could transfer from my camera directly to it... so while im out i can load photos on it and not have to take a bunch of memory cards with me... i can not figure out for the life of me...how to do this... plus camera into archos... and they do not seem to like each other nothing happens.. ??? anyone please help... im going to be taking a million photos tomorrow and i only have like 16 gigs of memory

if you have the battery dock, I suggest you get multi card reader or dedicated SDHC card reador or dedicated CF reader which ever you have. Attach the battery dock to your Archos and turn it on, then plug in the reader to the usb port. It should automatically detect the card and you can high light and copy the folder to your Archos. If it doesnt recognize you might have to reset your archos with a pin and go from there. Hope this helps you.
