View Full Version : B4 Installing Photoshop, do I have to uninstall...

..the Canon software I got with ny new camera (DDP or whatever it is, that I will never use). My Photoshop Elemets software arrived hours ago, and I want to know if installing it will interfere with the Canon software? I want to make sure that when I open an image, it automatically opens with Photoshop.

Nope, install at will. You can always change what app opens what files but they won't interfere when both are installed.

Also, DPP will allow you to tune White Balance, and then ship it over to Photoshop. I like the "Transfer to PS" option, in DPP...as it helps a lot.
