Hi all,

I have been waiting (and waiting and waiting) for DPReview to do the 1Ds Mk II. Still nothing but the press release. Luminous Landscape has a nice "Impression" review of it and also a shoot-out with a P25. But still no real meat.

If anyone knows of a posted review of the 1Ds Mk II, please let me know where. I am chomping at the bit for some hard reporting.

Thanks,

Rad

I can't find any. But I hev on over 20 days.

Personally, I find:
- It looks sharper than 1D MKII;
- Color is a little richer than 1D MKII;
- I have more keeper than 1D MKII;
- Easier to corp picture;
- 1:1 ratio with all EF lens.

May be I am worng, because:
- My feeling is not tested on measuring equirements;
- Only the untouch raw file;
- Just like Medium Format always have richer colour than 35mm;
- Or my previous 1D MKII has problem:rolleyes:

I was going to post the same thing. I go to pdreview every day, sometimes twice a day to find a review for it. While I understand they do the most exhaustive reviews I've ever come across, I still think they are falling behind.

Here's a review:

I love mine.

I know that's not real long. :) It's the first Canon I've owned, so I can't compare with other models. If you have specific questions, or you want to see some sample, I'll take a stab at it.

I'm switching from medium format film to this.
