Okay, I finally finished sorting out the 300 or so crappy shots I took, and here's the cream of the crop.
Taken between Radium and Golden:

I like 3 & 4 best. Very nice work!

I think everyone here is stunned by them, which is probably why you've had no comments in 12 hours? (You owe me a <bump>!) :D

You know me from that *other* forum we go to that I love wide angles and commented on the last shot there, but #2 and #4 are the best of the lost. I love the "wide and to the side" view that the second shot gives. Awe-inspiring stuff.

Good to hear I'm pleasing my fans :p
If you check out RP, I've got a shot on that wasn't shown here.

Wow, all great shots. Something in the lower right hand corner of the first picture is throwing me off. It is a blue square of something? But I can't make out what it is.

the blue area is just normal water it starts where the reflection of the trains stops!

Fabulous shots! What kind of diesel is that second locomotive? With my limited railroad knowledge I have no idea...

It's an FP9A, part of the A-B-A set of cab units CP used to have powering their Royal Canadian Pacific train before 1400 and 1900 bit the dust. Mostly used as a switcher for the passenger trainset here in Calgary now, I was happy to see it being used (and hear that delicious 567)
