I recently bought the S30 and I had a quick question about what resolution and compression settings to use. What settings should I use for 4"X6" photos? Is there a setting that will produce that image size without cropping? Also, what settings should I use for 8"X10" photos? What settings will produce that size without cropping? I want to know the right settings so that I'm not creating huge file sizes for photos when I don't need to be. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi'ya
There is a thread running in the G2 section about 1600 x 1200 photos. Have a read, I'm sure you'll pick up a few pointers there. Bottom line is - capture the image at the best quality you can on the camera; make a copy on the PC and resize the copy for various forms of publication - web, email etc. The print output is determined by your printer setup and not your image resolution, i.e. a high res picture will just print better at bigger sizes. Anyway - check out the discussion.
