When I save for web, it doesn't work..meaning that whenever I try to save for web, it's all grayed out..


what's the problem?

Make sure it's RGB and 8 bit.

Can you do a screenshot of the whole photoshop window? I suspect there something funny about the image mode, that's displayed in the title bar of the window inside photoshop.

Make sure it's RGB and 8 bit.

actually, save for web works for 8 and 16 bit just fine, as well as any color mode (rgb/cmyk/lab/multichannel/etc). 32bit doesn't allow the option

Yeah, I've done everything..doesn't seem to work.

Have you tried to save it as a jpeg? Same thing as Saving for web but keeps the exif intact I believe.

Good suggestion - try save as instead of save for web.
