Thanks. With 7 cubs from 5 months to 13 months old there are plenty of action.

Big horn sheep? Is that a special breed of sheep? Never heard of that.

i'd post you a pic, IF i had one! they've got big curly horns, and bash them into each other. don't look like sheep. hang out in the mountains. search... rocky mountain bighorn sheep

Great shots again Tommy. I love the first the best!

You are very lucky to have these cubs, so I'm glad to see you getting all these shots. Great stuff.

Thanks,

yes our zoo is very fortunate that a lot of the animals feequently get cubs. I just read that the leopards also got cubs in october 2004. I have not seen these yet and can't wait. I guess it is too cold to let them out yet. As soon as I manage to get some photos of those I will post them.

As for the lions, there is also a sad side about all the cubs the lions get. The first litter of 3 from december 2003 are all males. So in about 8 to 12 months time they will have to leave the zoo because there can only be one adult male. The really sad part is that it is very likely that the zoo have to put those 3 lions to sleep because all zoo's they collaborate with all have the adult males they need
