I took this just before my camera and I were engulfed by a giant wave. :rolleyes:

Lovely shot. I like the composition and the colours. Perhaps just a tweak to straighten the horizon. A beautiful dreamy sea.

Thanks Cameron :) Atually I noticed the horizon thing just after I posted it (I also cropped it slightly to remove the car on the right), but the server doesn't seem to have refreshed the jpg.

As for the camera, yeah its ok - pretty scary few minutes though. Guess it taught me not to go too close to big waves though :rolleyes:

Simon, I know you posted this two weeks ago, but I've only just gone through my old emails :o So sorry for the delay in replying.

It's a place called Overstrand, near Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. Do you know it?

That's a dreamy photograph. Colour and composition, and a fine example of creating mood.
